Maintenance:
ANNABEL J III was purchased by her current owner in 2004, from the South of France, (she was then named LA REVERENDE). She was sailed to the UK late in 2004 and a substantial refit was carried out to the yacht at Berthon Boat Company, starting December 2004.
This was extensive and work included:-
New teak decks
Full repaint in Awlgrip of topsides and superstructure
Total refurbishment of the spars and rigging
New sails
Main engine was sent away for a complete rebuild
Replacement of the generator
Replacement of the electronics package
New upholstery and mattresses
Revarnishing below as required
Whilst this work was in progress, her crew carried out many small maintenance jobs in order to put the yacht into immaculate and fully operational order.
ANNABEL J has a superb interior layout with a very large double owner cabin aft.
She is coded to MCA Category II.
Observations:
April / May 2006 Annabel was placed ashore in Mallorca and had a new bowthruster installed with a “tunnel” at the bow.
